Attorney of Counsel, Email Me

Marty Keenan was born and raised in Great Bend, Kansas. Marty grew up around his Dad’s law firm, Keenan & Keenan, and saw the “old school” way of practicing law—caring about clients, spending time with them, and trying to work out solutions for them.

Helping people work through thorny legal problems, such as a criminal or traffic case, a personal injury case, or a divorce case, requires an attorney who cares and knows how to fix things. When he works with his clients, Marty always remembers his Dad’s trademark phrase: “The client comes first.”

Marty spends much of his spare time studying and writing about Great Bend and Kansas history. He has taught history, political science, or constitutional law at four different colleges. As Walter Scott wrote: “A lawyer without history or literature is a mechanic, a mere working mason; if he possesses some knowledge of these, he may venture to call himself an architect.”
